Job Description

We are currently looking for a passionate Sales Executive / Sales Representative (Internal / External) to join our dynamic sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow with Air System Controls, who are committed to expansion and progression.

Established in 1989, Air System Controls sell pneumatic, hydraulic and process control equipment throughout the UK. In-house our dedicated engineering team design and build control panels, VDMA cylinders, end of arm robotic tooling and install pipework systems.

We are family owned with a commitment to both staff and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing excellent customer service through face-to-face, email and telephone conversations
  • Growing sales internally and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Establish and grow relationships with our preferred suppliers
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Dealing with customers on the trade counter
  • Assisting the sales team with technical inquiries
  • Provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Entering quotations, sales orders and purchase order to the Profit.Plus system

About the Candidate:

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Must have technical knowledge of pneumatic and fluid power process control equipment and their applications
  • General industrial knowledge from any of these key sectors would be beneficial; brewery and food industry, industrial, plant, manufacturing, marine and agricultural
  • Most of all you should possess excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft package is essential
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • The candidate should have a background in engineering¬†
